A wind tunnel is a place where you can fly like a skydiver—without a plane, without a parachute, and without being at high altitude. A stream of air traveling at speeds of up to 330 km/h lifts your body in a glass chamber, while an instructor keeps a close eye on every second of your flight.
Flyspot consists of four wind tunnels in Poland: in Warsaw, Gdańsk, Katowice, and Wrocław. This is where indoor skydiving was born in Poland—we opened the country’s first wind tunnel near Warsaw. Almost anyone can fly with us: children as young as 3, adults who have never had any experience with aerial sports, and professional skydivers.
What is a wind tunnel, and how does it work?
A vertical wind tunnel is a free-fall simulator. Powerful fans generate a steady stream of air directed vertically upward. When the force of the wind balances the body’s weight, a person floats in the air—just like a skydiver during freefall.
The heart of the tunnel is the glass flight chamber, where the flight takes place. In Flyspot tunnels, it is 4.2 meters in diameter and 12 meters high. The tunnels operate in a closed-loop system: air circulates within the building’s concrete structure, ensuring a stable airflow and making the flight experience independent of weather or season.
The wind speed is adjusted in real time. For children or first-time flyers, the instructor sets a gentle breeze, while for advanced flyers practicing dynamic maneuvers, the speed can reach up to 330 km/h.

Indoor skydiving – flying without a plane or a parachute
Indoor skydiving is flying in a wind tunnel that simulates freefall during a skydive. You don’t need to board a plane or jump from a height—just step into the flight chamber and lie down in the airflow.
One minute in the tunnel is roughly equivalent to one skydive from a height of 4,000 meters, counting only the time spent in freefall. That’s why the tunnel is:
- an attraction for anyone who wants to experience the thrill of flight without the risks of aviation sports,
- training for skydivers, who cover as much ground in a few minutes as they would in several jumps,
- a separate sport with competitions—at Flyspot, we organize events such as the Flyspot Polish Open, Paulove Scramble, and Flyspot Kids Cup.

Simulators
A great place for a gift for a loved one or yourself. (…) On site, there's a flight simulator, a parachute jump simulator, and the best part, a flight in the tunnel.

Entertainment
Great fun for adults and children from the age of 3. The flights seem short, but they're intense and definitely enough 🙂
